After applying for a scholarship through the MahaEschol portal, you can check your application and payment status online at any time.
What You Need
- Your registered mobile number or application ID
- Your password for MahaEschol portal
Steps to Check Application Status
- Go to mahaeschol.maharashtra.gov.in
- Click “Student Login”
- Enter your registered mobile number and password
- On your dashboard, click “Application Status” or “Track Application”
- Your current application status will be shown
What Each Status Means

How to Check Payment Status
- Log in to MahaEschol
- Go to “Payment Status” or “Scholarship History”

If payment shows “Processed” but you haven’t received money:
- Check that your Aadhaar is linked to the correct bank account
- Check with your bank if the NPCI mapping is active
- Wait 5–7 working days after the processing date
Scholarship Not Reflecting in Bank Account?
Common reasons:
- Aadhaar not linked to bank account (NPCI seeding)
- Bank account closed or dormant
- Wrong IFSC code entered in application
Fix: Visit your bank with Aadhaar and update the seeding. Then contact MahaEschol helpdesk.
Annual Renewal
Most scholarships require annual renewal. If you see “Renewal Pending” on your dashboard:
- Submit the renewal form before the deadline
- Upload updated income certificate (for the new year)
- Submit current year’s marksheet
